Notre Dame uniform info for Gr. 6 students

posted Jun 8, 2020, 10:36 AM by Kim Izsak

Hello Future Notre Dame Families!

We take great pride in the fact that Notre Dame is a uniform school. Our students wear their uniform proudly and are expected to wear their uniform everyday.

Many of our grade 6 students who will be joining us in the fall will need to order a uniform. This year, unfortunately, we are unable to offer our traditional in-person uniform fitting days. The good news is that the uniform company, Top Marks, is offering FREE shipping until the end of June and will also provide a prepaid return envelope, should you need to return an item for a different size.

Of special note, there is no uniform required for gym class, nor are there uniform specific shoes that students are required to wear. Please click the link below to order a school uniform.

Notre Dame also has a used uniform shop, which is open every Thursday during the school year. Students can shop there at the beginning of their lunch break but please note that variety and availability of sizes are not guaranteed.

Place a uniform order here.

Top Marks is asking for your cooperation in submitting orders by June 30th,  as this will guarantee delivery of your order prior to the start of school.

If you still have any questions after exploring the Welcome to Kindergarten package, please send us an email, or call the school. Messages are checked each week and we will respond as soon as possible.  We are very excited to welcome all of our new kindergarten students this September.

St. Elizabeth Update - April 14th

posted Apr 20, 2020, 6:58 AM by Kim Izsak

Dear St. Elizabeth Families,

We hope this letter finds you healthy and safe. It was certainly a different Easter we celebrated this year. As we recognized Jesus' holy resurrection, we continued to pray for the wellness and health for all of our school community. We miss our Eagles and anxiously await for a safe return to our school!  Our teachers have been working hard to reach out to their students.  Please continue to support your children's learning by assisting them, when necessary, with accessing their email to see their learning plans for the week. I have had the opportunity to join many of the class Google Meets. It has been so exciting to see the students, and hear and see what learning they have been doing at home! It is the highlight of the day!

Below, please find suggestions of available supports during this Covid-19 pandemic.

A family in need of support can access assistance through:  Federal income supplement,  Provincial emergency assistance and Support for Families with Children under 12

The Ottawa Food Bank has an online tool to find the community food program that’s closest to those in need.

As well, the Caldwell Family Centre Food Bank may be able to assist you.

Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to email the school.  Stay healthy and stay well!
