Volunteering or Attending a Field Trip?

posted Sep 15, 2019, 5:15 PM by Kim Izsak   [ updated Sep 15, 2019, 5:35 PM ]

Volunteers must submit a Vulnerable Sector Check - Level 3. Please follow the instructions on the school board website. Once the approved application is completed you may forward your electronic VSCs by email to

Schools will be updated on a regular basis with the new volunteer list. No VSC copies will be kept at the school level. Please retain your $10.00 receipt and hand in to the school office for reimbursement. This past summer Volunteer Services sent an Offence Declaration by email to all volunteers that are on the central database. This practice will continue each summer to current volunteers in order to maintain their volunteer status with the OCSB. This will save Volunteers from having to obtain a new VSC. Offence Declaration needs to be completed by October 16th, 2019.
